A 45-year-old, Isaac Orisadeyi Adedoku, younger brother to the Commissioner for Special Duties in Oyo state, Mrs. Funmilayo Orisadeyi was shot dead on Tuesday evening along Nihort- Idi-isin, Ibadan, the Oyo state capital by unknown gunmen.
The Commissioner for Special Duties in Oyo state, Mrs. Funmilayo Orisadeyi who confirmed the incident to newsmen in Ibadan on Wednesday said two hospitals rejected the victim before he gave up.
Premium Times gathered that Issac was on a motorcycle while returning home from work around 8pm on Tuesday evening when some gunmen trying to snatch the bike from the rider.
It was further gathered that when the motorcyclist resisted attempt to snatch the motorcycle, the armed men shot and killed the victim.
According to the source, it was another motorcyclist passing by the spot of the incident that alerted the public on the development.
The state Public Relations Officer, Olugbemiga Fadeyi who confirmed the incidents on Wednesday said the police in the state are investigating the killers of Issac.
“Information reaching me indicates that nothing was taken away from the victim, we are still investigating it and the secret behind it will be unravelled as soon as police get to the root of the matter,” he said.
