A gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD) in the forthcoming 2019 governorship election in Oyo State, Engr. Oyedele Hakeem Alao has described the demolition of Dr. Yinka Ayefele’s Music House that housed Fresh 105.9 FM by Ajimobi led APC government as irresponsible.
In a statement issued in Ibadan by his Head of Policy and Strategy, Lekan Salawu, the Structural Engineer wonder the economic benefit of demolishing a business that is providing foods for more than 500 families and enlightening the public.
“I received as rude shock, the report that Ayefele Music House has been finally demolished in contrary to restraining order of a competent court. This is height of executive recklessness and irresponsible power mongering.”
“That Ajimobi government is inflicting economic pains on the people is not new but the fact that the government can metamorphos into contempt of court order is worrisome. The people of Oyo State does not deserve continuation of this heinous, callous and arrogant anti-people’s party and government.”
“I commiserate with the management of the station and urge them to seek legal redress.”
” While I commiserate with the management of Fresh FM and particularly, Dr. Yinka Ayefele on this satanic attack on the livelihood of so many families and the people of Oyo State, I will like to appeal that legal options be explored as a matter of urgency. I also appeal to the teaming fans of the station to maintain decorum as evil should not be used to repel evil.
