A former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Oyo state, Chief Bayo Lawal has obtained nomination form and expression of interest form for Oyo North senatorial district under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The Kisi-born lawyer obtained the form yesterday at the party secretariat in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
Recall that insideOYO.com had earlier reported in an exclusive interview on his plan for the good people of Oyo state especially Oyo North senatorial district where he intends to represent.
“I’m one of the stakeholders of the party in Oyo state. I’m one of the recipient of the party in Oyo state. It’s the party is going to form the next government of Oyo state. I know the strength of the party. You can see that many people are still joining the party. And indeed, it has become a party for all and sundry.” he said.
When asked about his ambition and plans for the people of Oyo state and his senatorial district. He said:
“I’m aspiring to go to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). I intend to contest the election in the Oyo North senatorial district, the strong hold of the party. And I have no doubt that I am going to emerge as the flag bearer of the party in Oyo North.”
