President of the Femi Alake Foundation, Hon. Femi Akande, has congratulated Senator Dr. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on his ascension to the revered throne of the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The coronation, which took place today, September 25, 2025, has been described as a historic moment in the cultural and political history of the ancient city.
In a goodwill message, Akande extolled the leadership qualities and political pedigree of Senator Ladoja, noting that his enthronement would further deepen the unity, peace, and progress of Ibadanland. He described the new monarch as a man of courage and wisdom whose reign will usher in renewed hope for the people.
“On behalf of the Femi Alake Foundation, I heartily congratulate Senator Dr. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on becoming the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland. The foundation president further expressed optimism that the new Olubadan will use his wealth of experience, both as a former governor and a statesman, to advance the development of Ibadan and ensure harmony among its people. Akande prayed for the success of the monarch’s reign, asking for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength for the Olubadan in discharging his responsibilities.
