Former Executive Chairman of Saki East Local Government Area and 2027 aspirant for Saki East/ATISBO State Constituency under the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Tajudeen Alliu has urged believers to reflect on the message of hope, faith, and renewal embedded in the season.
In a statement on Sunday, Alliu described Easter as a time to celebrate victory over despair and reaffirm commitment to moral and spiritual values.
“Easter is more than a celebration, it is a declaration of victory over despair and a reminder that hope springs eternal,” he said.
He encouraged Christians to use the occasion to strengthen faith, deepen compassion, and engage in acts of selfless service.
“All of us are called to be instruments of peace and agents of positive change. Let this season remind us that genuine transformation begins with love in our hearts and service in our hands,” Alliu added.
The former council boss also urged citizens to work towards unity and harmony across religious and ethnic lines, stressing that the values of Easter, love, sacrifice, and redemption,should guide everyday life.
He concluded by wishing Nigerians a peaceful and joy-filled Easter, expressing hope that the season would inspire renewed strength, resilience, and purposeful living in families and communities across Oyo State and the nation.
