Eminent personalities in Ibadanland converged to celebrate with Oyo State Association of Traders in Nigeria (OYSATRIN) as they marked 9th Anniversary.
The event was a gathering of creme dela creme, among whom are Engr. Dotun Sanusi, Chief Akinade Fijabi, Mogaji Amidu Busari, Association of Mogaji’s while the state commissioner for commerce and industry was represented by Mrs Modupe Adesina.
Welcoming dignitaries and members to the 9th Anniversary, the president of OYSATRIN Mrs Olabode said the celebration is born out of love that in the last one year no casualty was recorded among the members of the association and their trading activities is moving forward.
In his remarks the Babaloja general of Oyo State Alhaji Y. K Abass stated that the 9th anniversary is a medium of thanking Almighty allah that they endwell in 2023 .
He urged the traders to always do what is right in business dealings, while praising Governor seyi Makinde’s administration for providing enabling environment for businesses to strive.
The Patron of traders association’s in Oyo State Engr. Dotun Sanusi who was honoured for the support to the cluster association, said he is happy that the traders come together for one goal.
He added that it is only in unity that they can achieve more and be recognized by government at all levels.
The Mogaji of Egunjemi Family, Chief Amidu Busari while addressing the traders stated that the gathering shows that love exist among the traders in the state, and lauded the founding fathers of OYSATRIN for bring together the traders.
The Iyaloja general of Oyo State Alhaja Saratu Konibaje and the president trader’s Association in Oyo State Alhaji Dauda Oladepo urged OYSATRIN members to join hand with the executive to move the association to a greater height.
