As Muslims all over the world celebrates Eid l Fitr after the completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting, the Lawmaker representing Ibadan North State Constituency 2 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide has enjoined Muslims to continue praying for the nation especially this trying time.
Babajide who is the Chairman, House Committee on Human Rights, in a goodwill message made available to insideoyo.com on Sunday said Muslims should continue to use the lessons and messages of Ramadan.
His words: “I wish all my Muslim brothers and sisters a happy eid el fitri
“After observing the 30 days fasting in the holy month of Ramadan, Eid-el-fitri is the time for sharing what we have with others. It is also time to amend, use and reflect what we have learnt during the month. I pray Almighty Allah guide us on the right path and help us in our affairs.
“Let’s be guided by our faith in Allah and ask Him for total healing of our nation. We are all in a crucial time where we all in fight against the coronavirus pandemic.”
