The Chairman of Egbeda local government area, Mr Sikiru Sanda has emerged as Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, (ALGON), Oyo state chapter, insideoyo.com reports.

Others elected included Engr. Sharafadeen Ahmed Ominrinde; Saki West; Vice Chairman, Mr Timothy Oyedokun Oyeniyi; Ogbomoso South; Secretary.

Also elected were Mr Yusuff Shaib Oladayo; Ibadan North; PRO, Mr Abilawon Mufutau; Iseyin; Treasurer, Mr Adedoyin Adeoye; Financial Secretary and Mr Saheed Arowosaye; Chairman, Tenders Board.
