Senator Olufemi Lanlehin (SOLAN) has felicitated Nigerians in general, and the good people of Oyo State in particular, on the occasion of the New Year.
Lanlehin, in a new year message from his Media Bureau in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, equally felicitated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso I, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, Obas throughout Oyo State, Ibadan High Chiefs, Mogajis and Baalẹs, as well as leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), wishing them all many more years in good health and abundant blessings.
Lanlehin, while appreciating God for the gift of life and the grace to be alive, particularly giving the troubles associated with the past year, especially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated losses, nonetheless commended Nigerians for their resilience, and unwavering faith in the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the land, praying that when the good comes, everyone shall all be alive to benefit.
“Notwithstanding the troubles of the past year, let’s keep hope alive,” Lanlehin admonished.
Senator Lanlehin (SOLAN), who specially appreciated his teeming supporters throughout the state, for their unflinching support over the years, charged them to remain committed to the ideals of progressivism, as that indeed, is the only route to the hearts and minds of the people.
Senator Lanlehin who prayed that Nigeria and Oyo State will experience peace, progress and development this new year, assured the people that as a patriot, he will continue to play his part, singly, and in cooperation with others, in efforts geared towards returning smiles and succour to the people’s faces.
