The giant strides and achievements recorded by the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde have received further commendations and acknowledgement from a group, the Bonuola Vanguard.
In a statement issued by the group on Friday, marking this year’s Democracy day and also congratulating the Oyo State Governor on his one year in office, the Leader of the Bonuola Vanguard, Hon. Adekunle Koleosho, congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde for keeping faith with his campaign promises with notable equal distribution of projects across the Pace Setter State.
The Bonuola Vanguard acknowledged the humane gestures of the Makinde-led administration in Oyo State for being true to his campaign promises as seen in the manner by which government activities are conducted.
Part of the statement issued which was made available to newsmen read “the Bonuola Vanguard wishes to congratulate His Excellency, Governor Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde on this year’s Democracy day celebration and the anniversary of his one year in office which has witnessed notable developmental achievements.
“The Governor has no doubt performed creditably well with just one year in office, it is our hope that His Excellency will do more for the people of Oyo state in the years to come.
“On the occasion of this year’s Democracy day celebration, the Bonuola Vanguard Leader also enjoined Nigerians to be more dedicated to the sustenance of democratic tenets despite the various challenges Nigeria might be facing at the moment.”
Koleosho who is the son of Late Senator Robert Koleosho further stated that Nigeria is going to weather the storm and come out strong enjoining all to be hopeful that better days are ahead.
