Drumbeat and dance at the Popoyemeja palace of the Olubadan as Oba Saliu Adetunji welcomed the estranged High Chiefs back.
According to reports, Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Lekan Balogun led others to the first bi-monthly meeting of the Olubadan-In-Council after more than two years.

The last time, the High Chiefs and Olubadan met was in May, 2017.
PaceSetters News reports that the Monday reconciliation lasted for 40 minutes behind closed doors.

The Olubadan reportedly thanked the returning high chiefs, and was quoted as saying that he welcomed the development because of the need for unity, progress and solidarity of Ibadan.
