The Oyo state chapter of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has postponed the campaign flag off of its gubernatorial candidate, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin earlier scheduled to hold tomorrow, Saturday, insideoyo.com has reliably gathered.
The was made known in a release by the Head of Public Communication and New Media for Senator Olufemi Lanlehin Campaign Organization, Engineer Akeem Olatunji.
According to the release, the postponement was due to a directive from the Commissioner of Police over an impromptu All Progressives Congress, APC, engagement.
Findings by insideoyo.com revealed that the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo will be in the state on Saturday.
“The Oyo State ADC gubernatorial candidate’s official flag off ceremony scheduled to hold tomorrow 22/12/18 at Iseyin has been put on hold due to a directive from Oyo State Commissioner of Police as a result of an impromptu APC engagement.” it reads.
However, the new day for the flag off is Monday, 24th of December, 2018.
