Hoodlums on Saturday attacked the house of the Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Teslim Kolawole Folarin in Ibadan, the state capital, insideoyo.com reports.
An eye witness who spoke with insideoyo.com said some of the items stolen were motorcycles, fridge and others.
He added that the items are meant for empowerment.
Videos on social media obtained also confirmed the development.
The Senator also confirmed the ugly incident on Fresh 105.9 FM in a telephone interview.
The senator noted that over 250 motorcycles, deep freezers, food items among others which he said were meant for empowerment were carted away.
Meanwhile, Operation Burst had dispersed the hoodlums and surrounded the house.
