Alhaji Yekini Abass, the Babaloja General of Oyo state has lost his father, Alhaji Badmus Alade Oladapo.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Babaloja General on Saturday and made available to newsmen.
According to the statement, he died on Sunday at the age of 114. He will be buried today.
It reads: “With total submission to the will of Allah (SWT), we announce the death of our patriarch, Alhaji Badmus Alade Oladapo.
“The chief Imam of Kajola Ibadan. The Mogaji of Lapite Compound, Ibadan.
“He died a couple of hours ago, today, at the ripe old age of 114 years.
“His remains will be interred to mother earth according to Islamic rites by 4:30pm today, Saturday 11th February, 2023 @ his residence Amuda Oojeere, off Iwo road expressway, Ibadan.
“Alhaji Badmus Alade Oladapo is survived by children. Amongst whom is Alhaji Y.K Oladapo Abbass. Babaloja General Oyo State.
