A former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, has lost his brother, Dr. Akinwunmi Akinyemi.

According to a statement made available to PUNCH, the deceased was “a renowned paediatrician who worked at Adeoyo Hospital, Ibadan in Oyo state.”

He was a director at the state ministry of health and secretary-general of Christian Health Association of Nigeria.

“His last full-time post was as the vicar-general of the Anglican Dioceses of Jos, Plateau State.

He was aged 77yrs.
