The Babaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaji (Asiwaju) Yekini Oladapo Abass (Y.K. Abass), has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on his 5th anniversary as the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
In a press statement on Thursday, Alhaji Abass commended Governor Makinde for surpassing his predecessors in all aspects of governance, citing the recent commissioning of the Ogbomoso/Iseyin road by President Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kassim Shetima, as well as the ongoing Ibadan circular road project and various infrastructural programs.
Additionally, Alhaji Abass highlighted the governor’s commitment to the welfare of state civil servants and pensioners, as well as the improved treatment of pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia from Ibadan.
The Babaloja General expressed his wishes for Governor Makinde’s continued success and guidance from Almighty God until 2027.
He said this milestone anniversary marks five years of Governor Makinde’s dedication to good governance and remarkable achievements in Oyo State.
