The Babaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaji Asiwaju Yekeen Oladapo (YK Abass), has congratulated Are Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, and the Are of Ibadan land, Alhaji Chief Dr. Daud Makanjuola (DeDamak), on his recent conferment with two prestigious awards.
The awards, the Meritorious Award of Grand Commander of Ibadan Indigenes (GCII) and the Most Patriotic Ibadan Indigenes (MPII), were bestowed upon him by the President General and the Executives Council of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII).
Alhaji Abass praised Alhaji Makanjuola’s unwavering dedication and commitment to the development of Ibadan land, which he described as “highly unquantifiable.” He also commended Alhaji Makanjuola’s cultural values, which he said are a testament to the titles bestowed upon him.
