The First Babaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaji Asiwaju Yekini Abass Oladapo, has extended warm birthday wishes to the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on behalf of market men, women and artisan Oyo State.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Alhaji Abass praised the monarch’s wisdom, leadership, and contributions to the development of Ibadan and Oyo State.
He also acknowledged the Olubadan’s support for the market community, saying, “Your Majesty’s reign has been a blessing to our markets and traders. We appreciate your efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the state.”
Alhaji Abass, on behalf of the market men, women and artisan, prayed for the Olubadan’s continued good health, longevity, and divine guidance.
He congratulated Olubadan ahead of the presentation of the staff of office by Governor Seyi Makinde.
