A philanthropist, Alhaja Awanat Akinade Fijabi, has fulfilled her foundation’s promise by donating donating jerseys, socks, and other football kits to the Akinyele Football Club.
During the presentation of the kit recently, Alhaja Fijabi appreciated and saluted the management of Akinyele Football Club and their coaches for promoting players at the grassroot level.
“Football is one of the sports that unites the whole world and we need to continue to support sports development in the country,” she said.
She added that she is ready to establish and promote female football club in Akinyele local government.
The ceremony was witnessed by His Royal Highness, Oba James Oluyemi Odeniran, the Alakinyele of Akinyele Land and his wife, Olori Olajumoke Odeniran.
