The proprietor of Atiba University, Oyo, has appreciated the roles played by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, in the establishment and approval of the university.
Speaking at the inauguration of Governing Council Members at the institution’s premises, Dr. Adesokan Ojebode said he was elated, adding that the committee members would see to the operation of the university.
Bishop Ayo Ladigbolu, who spoke on behalf of Oyo, said “this university is unique because it is a university of Oyo named after the first Alaafin of Oyo.”
