Reacting to the Local Government crisis in Oyo State, the Caretaker Chairman Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade has throw shade at the sacked APC Chairman and his team, describing their attempt to take over the local government a show of shame.
In a statement signed by the Special Assistant to the Chairman on information and strategy, Ogunjimi Sunday, Hon. Ololade noted that while the PDP led administration is busy working hard to develop the local government and Oyo State the leading opposition party in the State, APC is busy breaking down the peace and order in the State.
The Statement: “the violent activities of the sacked APC Chairman and his team in IBARAPA NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT has been brought to our notice.
“However, we love to inform the good and peace-loving people of Ayete, Tapa and environs that the PDP led government in Oyo State under our amiable Governor, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde is on top of the issues and Hon. Shittu Liasu Ololade JP, the Caretaker Chairman is also fully on ground, holding series of official meetings and engagements on the development of our Local Government and the State at large.
“We therefore assure our people to remain calm and go on with their normal business of the day as maximum security of lives and properties of our citizens are guaranteed with the support of the security agencies.
“We appreciate the leaders, members of our great party, PDP and the entire residents for the maturity displayed today despite pressure and temptations. The law enforcement agencies for their efforts towards maintaining peace and order.”
