A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aspirant for the Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Sanusi Ridwan, popularly known as “Strikah,” has obtained his expression of interest and nomination form ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The aspirant also participated in the party’s screening exercise, signaling his formal entry into the race to represent the federal constituency under the platform of the APC.
Speaking after the exercise, Strikah expressed confidence in his aspiration and reaffirmed his commitment to quality representation, grassroots development and youth empowerment across Ibadan North-East and Ibadan South-East local government areas.
He stated that his decision to contest was driven by the need to bring responsive leadership, effective legislative representation and people-oriented policies closer to the constituents.
According to him, the constituency deserves a representative who understands the challenges facing the people and is ready to attract meaningful development projects, improve opportunities for youths and women, and strengthen the voice of the constituency at the National Assembly.
The APC hopeful also appreciated party leaders, supporters and stakeholders for their encouragement and support since the declaration of his ambition, promising to run an inclusive and issue-based campaign.
