A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and immediate past Chairman of the Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, Engr. Najeem Omirinde, has congratulated the wife of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Queen (Barr.) Rashidat Olayinka Ladoja, on the occasion of her birthday.
Omirinde, in a statement made available to journalists on Thursday, described the monarch’s wife as a woman of grace, compassion and exceptional character, whose contributions to humanity and total support for the traditional institution have continued to inspire many.
He said Queen Ladoja has remained a pillar of strength to the Olubadan of Ibadanland while demonstrating humility, wisdom and a deep commitment to the welfare of the people.
“On this special occasion of your birthday, I join your family, friends, associates and the good people of Ibadanland in celebrating a remarkable woman of honour, dignity and uncommon compassion,” he said.
According to him, “Your life has been a source of inspiration to many women and young people. Through your humility, kindness and unwavering support for the traditional institution, you have continued to impact lives and promote the values of service, peace and unity.”
Omirinde prayed that God would continue to bless the queen with good health, divine wisdom and many more years of fruitful service.
“As you celebrate another year today, I pray that Almighty God grants you long life, sound health, greater strength and abundant grace to continue your service to humanity and Ibadanland. May your new age bring you greater fulfilment, peace and divine favour,” he added.
He wished the celebrant a memorable birthday celebration and expressed confidence that her exemplary virtues would continue to endear her to the people of Ibadanland and beyond.
