The Aare Musulumi Of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola has expressed sadness and deep grief at the passing away of his dear brother, the immediate past Governor Of Oyo State, the Aare Of Ibadanland and the Bashorun Musulumi Of Oyo State, Sen Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi who passed away on Thursday, 25th July, 2020.
Alhaji Akinola described the demise of Sen Ajimobi as a huge loss to Islam, the good people of Oyo State & Nigeria at large. While commending the former Governor for his wonderful contribution to the development of Oyo State with indelible marks that the people will continue to enjoy for years to come, the Aare Musulumi Of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, believe that the sterling contribution of his beloved brother and friend to Islam and their joint traditional heritage, Ibadanland, are legacies and memories that he will continue to always cherished.
The former Governor, who he referred to as a National Hero, adminstrative and political career, as eulogized by Alh Akinola, are undeniably a study in career progression for upcoming youths in the country while his personal efforts at giving a befitting Mosque to the cause of Allah and the Ramadan lectures are good deeds he prayed Almighty Allah help measure substantially with his other good deeds.
The Aare Musulumi Of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, on behalf of himself, his family and all Ummah In Southern part of Nigeria hereby commisserate with the immediate family of Late Sen Ajimobi, the people & government of Oyo State, his political family, The APC of which he was the Deputy National Chairman before his death and the Federal Government of Nigeria as led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
