Executive assistant on political matters to Oyo State Governor, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, Dr. Morohunkola Thomas has said that the two nominees – Adeleke Taiwo and Muda Agbaje who were nominated to chair Asabari local council development area and Irepo local government were not among those that were inaugurated today.
Ajimobi inaugurated the the caretaker committee chairmen earlier today.
Mr. Thomas, who was a three term commissioner in the state stated this while reacting to Inside Oyo report on the inauguration of the two rejected nominees
He said, it is very bad for anybody to instigate a crisis between the governor and the assembly.
“It is not true. The Governor has sent a letter to the house for their confirmation to be reconsidered”, he told our correspondent.
When contacted for verification purpose, special adviser to the governor on media, Mr Yomi Layinka explained that 55 and not 57 caretaker chairmen were inaugurated today.
