Oyo State has recorded another first with the commissioning of a 300-seater Computer Based Test (CBT) centre located in Ago-Amodu, headquarters of Saki-East Local government of the state.
Commissioning the centre, which was one of the intiative of the council helmsman -Hon. Salawu Maroof, Governor Abiola Ajimobi said it is the first in the whole of the Southwest, and the first local government-based CBT centre in Nigeria.
“While we celebrate this incident of many firsts, we restate that the Oyo State government identifies ICT as a key component of its restoration, transformation and repositioning agenda, and we will continue to promote digital literacy and ensure that our citizens are prepared for a knowledge-driven future. We will also support the maintenance of this project for sustainability.”
