Engineer Muftau Open Salawu, the Giwa Adini of Oyo state has extended his warm felicitations to the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulganiyy Abubakry Agbotomokere, as he celebrates his 90th birthday today.
In a congratulatory message on Sunday, Open Salawu praised the Chief Imam’s remarkable leadership, wisdom, and contributions to the growth and development of Islam and the Ibadan community.
He described the Chief Imam as a revered spiritual leader who has brought people together through his teachings and exemplary life.
“Today, we celebrate not only your 90th birthday but also your lifelong dedication to your faith and community. Your wisdom, guidance, and commitment to promoting peace and unity have made a lasting impact on the lives of many. I pray that Allah continues to grant you good health, long life, and the strength to keep serving Islam and humanity.” he said.
Open Salawu who’s also the Executive Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Project Monitoring commended the Chief Imam’s role in fostering a sense of community and togetherness among people of different faiths and backgrounds in Ibadanland.
He noted that the Chief Imam’s life and legacy serve as an inspiration to people of all ages and backgrounds.
The congratulatory message concluded with prayers for Allah’s continued blessings and protection over the revered cleric and the entire Muslim community in Ibadanland.
He wished the Chief Imam many more years of happiness, good health, and continued service to Islam and humanity.
