Governor of Oyo state, Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi and Minister Of Transportation Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi exchanged letters between the Oyo state government and the federal government on the Ibadan Inland Dry Port at the Executive Chambers of the Governor’s Office on Tuesday.
Recall that insideoyo.com earlier reported that the one of the purposes of the port is that incoming containers will be shipped to Ibadan, discarged and processed to limit congestion in Lagos – Apapa Port.
Also recall that the China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC) said that it set aside $250 million to build Ibadan Dry Port.
The governor and the minister off transportation also inspected the site of the Ibadan Inland Dry Port and the progress Of Lagos – Ibadan Railway.
