Alhaji Rasaq Gbadegesin, a former deputy chief of staff to former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala over the weekend met his supporters across the state.
This is just as Agbeti, as the Ogbomoso-born politician is fondly called, said he has always been happy since joining the All Progressives Congress, APC, from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
While interacting with his supporters who converged on his Ogbomoso residence over the weekend, the grassroots politician explained that ”I have no regrets joining APC because it is a party of the progressives where the game is played according to the rules and there is nothing happening to suggest otherwise.”
Expressing confidence in the ability of the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC, to conduct a free and fair elections, Agbeti also expressed optimism that the Chief Akin Oke led executive of the APCin Oyo state will also ensure that the process for the emergence of candidates for the local government elections will be transparent, free, fair and according to the rules.
