The Aare of Ofiki land, Alayeluwa Oba Gbenga Adeoye Oyinlola II has congratulated the Onigbope of Igbope, Oba Mose Olawale Oyetola Fabiyi VI over the award of Honorary Doctorate Degree given to him by Freedom University & Theological Seminary, United States of America (African Campus).
Onigbope, a traditional ruler in Oorelope local government area of the state alongside other notable personalities were awarded the degrees in peace and conflict management on Saturday in Saki.
Aare Ofiki described the award as well deserved going by the love of Onigbope for education and development.
He said: “Congratulations to His Royal Highness, the Onigbope of Igbope Oba Mose Olawale Oyetola Fabiyi VI over his award of Honorary Doctorate Degree today by Freedom University & Theological Seminary, United States of America (African Campus).
“Going by his antecedents and actions, the award of the doctorate degree is well-deserved by him. It will propel him to do more for his community and humanity. Congratulations to him once again.”
Meanwhile the Registrar of the institution, Dr. Festus Olu Ade Alade said the awardees are individuals of proven track records of goodwill who has exhibited the ideals of living for the sake of God and committed themselves to promoting moral values, societal harmony and the culture of peace.
While reacting, Onigbope expressed appreciation to the University for the recognition which he said motivated him to continue to serve humanity as he has always been doing.
