The Chairman, Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Engineer Najeem Omirinde has congratulated the Governor following his appointment.
Omirinde in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday also wished the Governor success in the party’s assignment.
He said: “I want to use this medium to Congrtulate His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde over his appointment as the secretary of the National convention planning committee. I wish him success in the national assignment. It’s indeed a call to service.”
Recall that it was reported that Engr Seyi Makinde, has been appointed as secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national convention planning committee.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, disclosed this while briefing journalists on the outcome of the decisions reached at the 93rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party, held at its national secretariat on Thursday, in Abuja.
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, was named as the chairman of the national convention planning committee.
The party’s NEC also approved Governor Ifeanyi Uguanyi as the chairman of its zoning committee, while Bayelsa State Governor, Sen. Douye Diri, will serve as the deputy chairman of the national convention organising committee.
Similarly, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, was appointed as the deputy chairman of the zoning committee; the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Barr. Mahdi Aliyu Mohammed is the secretary of the zoning committee.
