The occasion, which was the first of its kind and organised by BOOSA, attracted members from different fields of endeavours across states of Nigeria and other parts of the world, including the United Kingdom and the United States.
The celebration brought back fond memories as the alumni reunited with their former teachers, while old students used the opportunity to remind the present students of the school’s history, as well as their primary responsibilities as students.

At the event, projects commissioning by BOOSA were five classrooms and the launching of proposed Multi-Purpose Hall for Basorun Ojoo High School, Ashi, Ibadan.

If given the needed conducive environment and required resources together with experienced and diligent staff, the students have the potentials of further climbing the ladder of greatness for all round growth.

“Alumni body create a special bonding between the school and those who have passed out and have established themselves in the outside world. I perceive that this anniversary celebration is an avenue to meet and, of course, revive the bond of togetherness, which will promote the spirit of unity for the upliftment of the school.

“I will like to commend you all for your keen interest in your alma-mata and for making this day a reality. At this point, I must pay glowing tribute to all the members of staff and students for their unending support and sacrifice. May we live to eat and enjoy the fruits of our labour. I pray that God shall continue to strengthen you. Moreover, I use this medium to welcome our well-wishers to this great occasion,” She said.
