Shooting Stars Sports Club centre back, Shittu Taiwo, who has become the darling of many supporters of the club, has dedicated his first professional career goal to NairaBet founder, Otunba Akin Alabi, who turned 40 last Friday.
Shittu scored on the dot of 90 minutes yesterday against Akwa United. 3SC lost the match 2 goals to 4.
Tweeting via @ShittuTaiwo39, an obviously elated Shittu said: “I dedicate my first professional career goal to my boss- Otunba Akin Alabi, for his birthday.”
Alabi, an indigene of Ibadan, who was installed Mogaji of his family compound, has a sponsorship deal with the Oluyole Warriors, an action that has endeared him to many fans of the club.
The former House of Representative candidate has rescued the club financially on many occasions.
