Oyo-born former commissioner for works and transport, Alhaji Yunus Akintunde yesterday visited the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
Akintunde, who was also an executive assistant to Governor Abiola Ajimobi, used the visit to make his gubernatorial intention known to the party leaders.
He said the need to announce his intention became necessary, after many months of consultations with party stakeholders.
Reeling out his credentials, Akintunde who was born in Onikanko Compound of Pakoyi in Oyo Town revealed that he is currently a doctoral candiate at the department of energy studies, University of Ibadan.
This is after he had bagged national diploma in physics with electronics at The Polytechnic, Ibadan; bachelor of science degree in physics at the Lagos State University; master of public administration in human resources and personnel management and Master of science in Energy Studies at the Premier university, Ibadan.
