Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan defeated Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso by a lone goal to emerge the winner of the 2019 competition of the prestigious Oyo State Federation Cup.
According to Tunji Alabi, Media Officer, Crown FC, the two(2) warriors sized each other in the early minutes into the game displaying good artistry game with fantastic moves that gave the teeming spectators value for their time and money.
Chibuike Nwankwo’s begging chance in the sixteenth(16th) that would have put the Ajilete Warriors upfront was saved by Lucky Jimoh , in goal for the Oluyole Warriors.
Adeniyi Adejare, the Captain and safe hands for the Ogbomoso side gave very good account of himself by stopping the many dangerous moves by goal hungry Ayobami Junior, Aderemi Yusuf and Olufemi OpeOluwa.

Ayobami Junior, who scored the only goal for the Oluyole Warriors in the 2018 edition of the tournament in the sixth (6th) minutes again scored the only goal in the game in the twenty fifth(25th) minute.
The Oyekale led boys mounted pressure on the Ibadan sides ,firing from all angles but their efforts at scoring proved abortive.
The first half ended one nil in favour of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3sc) of Ibadan, unbelievably the only goal in the encounter.
The temper of the game changed in the second stanza as Crown FC mounted more pressure on 3sc but Omololu Waheed’s led defense line were equal to the task by stopping the many dangerous moves by the Ogbomoso side.
The substitutions of Isah Seidu , Babalola Ibrahim and Ahmed Yahya for Obinna Christopher, Muazu Taiwo and Fabode Olaitan added more value to the team and completely changed the tempo of the game.
This saw Obinna Christopher penetrating more into the defence line of 3sc with his very speedy sharp dribbles and good headers from Muazu Taiwo’s telegraphic passes.
Crown FC increased their pressure on 3sc by making frantic efforts at scoring til the centre referee blew the final whistle that brought the game to an end after the three(3) minutes added time.
