OYO State chapter of Accord has lost a big fish. Its ‘biggest financier’, as a source put it, is to be welcome into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)

The retired permanent secretary, in his 50s, and alumnus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, reportedly has his eyes on the number one seat of the state.
Until recently, he was the leader of a faction of Accord that was declared illegal by the court last week.
The event, which is billed to take place in Igboho, headquarters of Oorelope where the civil engineering graduate hails, is to be attended by the party bigwigs.
