The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, of Nigeria was temporarily relocated to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital as one of the daughters of erstwhile chairman of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Wuraola, wedded his hearthrob.
InsideOyo reliably gathered that the traditional wedding ceremony took place last Thursday, in Ila, hometown of Akande, who was a governor of Osun State.
Acting-President Yemi Osinbajo, who led dignitaries to the event, arrived Ibadan, to the waiting hands of Governor Abiola Ajimobi as early as 9 a.m.
Also at the event were more than 10 governors which included Governors Ajimobi of Oyo, Rauf Aregbesola of Osun, Badaru of Jigawa, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo and representatives of others, who were unavoidably absent.
Senate President Bukola Saraki led his colleagues like AbdulFatai Buhari of Oyo North, Olamilekan Solomon of Lagos West and others to the event.
