In celebration of this year Christmas, Hon. Dapo Oyerinde, Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful from Egbeda Local Government congratulated Christian faithfuls on the celebration of the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Oyerinde in his Christmas celebration message thanked God on behalf of the good people of Egbeda local government, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole for the gift of life to witness and celebrate the festive season.
He said: “Let’s thank God once again for the unmerited opportunity, blessings and favor that God has gifted us all. Through the many troubles in the land, lots of people have passed away, that we are alive again this festive season, let’s thank God.
“We should as well be reminded that, this is a season of love and sharing, and not only that we have shared our token of love to numerous people, we are also urging us all to further multiply the love sharing. It is through that we can have a balanced and peaceful society.
“It is not the time for politics, it is time to merry the blessing of the season, and at the same time, we are very much aware of our plights and yawning for good representation at all levels to uplift the local constituency to an enviable level. We are coming to offer you that.”
“While the merriment is ongoing, let’s as well remember to pray for Egbeda Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria in general for peace and tranquility.
