The All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo state has assured that the new administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will meet the yearning and aspiration of most Nigerians in terms of national rebirth, economic growth and life abundance even as it urged citizens to support him (Tinubu) with prayers in view of the herculean task ahead.
Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos state, became the nation’s 16th President on Monday when he was sworn-in at the Eagle Square, Abuja by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kayode Ariwoola, as the immediate successor to former President Muhammadu Buhari who has just completed his two terms in office.
Oyo APC in a statement issued on Monday and made available to journalists in Ibadan by its Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, expressed delight at the “peaceful dimension which the exchange of baton between Buhari and Tinubu took despite threat and intimidation from some opposition elements who have not hidden their desperation to hijack power at all cost.
“There is no doubting the fact that President Bola Tinubu is here put Nigeria on the track of accelerated growth and development. Our new has demonstrated a great deal of passion, resilience and zeal to rewrite the story of Nigeria and thus reposition it as the true Giant of Africa. As we give deserved credit to former President Muhammadu Buhari who did his best to fix Nigeria in the last eight years, we can guarantee that the next four years of APC at the center would be full of success stories.
