Mogaji Joseph Tegbe Olasunkanmi, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for Oyo South Senatorial District, attended the Idere Agbajo Festival in the Ibarapa area of Oyo state.
He also made huge donation for the construction of Onidere Palace and received blessings from the monarch.
These were made known in a statement on Wednesday, by his media team which was made available to newsmen.
It reads:” It was encomiums galore for the Senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo South from the people of Idere, and the Royal Father, HRM Oba Kingsley Onikola Oyelami (JP), Olufiji II.
“Speaking on behalf of Idere people home and abroad, the President of the Idere Descendants Vanguard, Dr. Olabisi Eyitayo Olagbenro noted that Mogaji Tegbe was a rare kind of politician. He commended the PDP candidate for his accessibility, hospitality and generosity in the planning and execution of the Idere Agbajo festival.
“In his royal address, HRM Oba Kingsley Onikola Oyelami (JP), Olufiji II, the Onidere of Idere commended Mogaji Tegbe for his love for Ibarapa people and Idere town in particular, demonstrated by his attendance of the Idere Agbajo festival, and huge donation towards the construction of the Onidere Palace.
“He gave his royal blessings to Tegbe’s Senatorial ambition and prayed that Tegbe will visit the town in no distant time as elected Senator.
