Popular Ibadan-based Fiji star, Taye Currency has explained how he gave birth to his 25-year-old son, Yusuf, at a tender age.
In a report by PUNCH Sunday’s Scoop, Currency said he was happy when his son was elected into the Oyo State House of Assembly at the just concluded elections.
Recall that insideoyo.com earlier reported that Yusuf Adebisi was elected under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to represent the people of Ibadan South West Constituency 1.
Explaining, his tender affairs with his mother, the fuji star said him and Yusuf’s mother were inexperienced about marital life and it was his mother that took care of the baby (Yusuf).
According to PUNCH, Taye said, “I and his mother were very young and inexperienced. However, my mother loves children and she was the one that took care of him. It was also around that time that I started fuji music; so, I was also able to take care of him as a father. As of then, I didn’t know anything about having a baby mother and it is not something I advocate. I don’t think it is a good thing. However, it so happened that way and I don’t regret it.”
He said he was the one that encouraged his son to move closer to the grassroots and start his political career there.
