Bodija Rainstorm: Babaloja General Mourns Dead, Urges Traders to Move to Safer Shops

Stone Cafe, a popular restaurant, bar, and grill in Ibadan, Oyo State, is set to reopen on Thursday, May 30, 2024, after undergoing significant renovations since its closure on March 25, 2024.

The establishment, which has been a trendsetter in the local hospitality industry since its inception in 2020, promises an enhanced experience with new features and a series of exciting events to mark its return.

The owner, Asiwaju Segun Olalere, expressed his excitement about the reopening in an interview with newsmen. “We’ve taken this time to upgrade and enhance the Stone Cafe experience for our customers. From new furniture to improved lighting, every detail has been considered to provide the best environment possible.”

The celebrations will begin on Thursday, May 30, at 10 PM with a performance by Alternate Sounds, a popular band from Lagos, set to play until daybreak. “We wanted to start our reopening with a bang, and Alternate Sounds will definitely bring the energy we need,” Olalere said.

Friday’s lineup includes four DJs who will spin a mix of old school and new school music, ensuring a night of nostalgia and contemporary hits. “It’s going to be a vibrant mix that caters to all tastes,” Olalere noted.

Saturday will feature a special appearance by Nigerian comedian Dele Omo Woli, promising an evening filled with laughter and entertainment. “Dele Omo Woli is a crowd favorite, and we’re excited to have him bring his unique brand of humor to Stone Cafe,” Olalere added.

The week will culminate with YOLO Sunday, a themed event designed for relaxation and enjoyment as the weekend winds down.

“YOLO Sunday is about unwinding and enjoying life. We’ll have live acoustic music and special brunch menus to help everyone relax and recharge,” said Olalere.

Stone Cafe’s renovations include treated chairs that remain sturdy and comfortable, new furniture, and enhanced lighting for a better ambiance.

“We’ve invested in top-notch illumination to create a warm and inviting atmosphere,” said Olalere.

“Our new decor combines modern aesthetics with comfort, making it a perfect spot for both casual and formal gatherings.”

To ensure the safety of patrons, the cafe now boasts improved security measures, including the presence of security personnel and a comprehensive CCTV system. “Customer safety is our priority,” Olalere emphasized.

“We’ve spared no expense in ensuring a secure environment. In addition to security guards, we’ve also installed emergency response systems.”

In addition to its enhanced physical space, Stone Cafe continues to offer unique services.

Every Saturday, the cafe hosts a fitness family event where guests can enjoy exercise sessions followed by a healthy breakfast.

“It’s all about promoting wellness and community,” Olalere explained. “Our fitness sessions are led by professional trainers, and the breakfast includes fresh, organic options.”

Stone Cafe prides itself on providing genuine products. “We guarantee no fake drinks; all beverages are sourced directly from distributors,” assured Olalere.

“We believe in quality and authenticity, which is why we partner only with reputable suppliers.”

The cafe also maintains a standard of premium dressing for staff and customers, reflecting the high-quality service they aim to deliver. “Our staff are dressed to impress, and their professionalism matches the quality of our service, which is also what we expect from our customers,” Olalere stated.

Despite the upgrades and premium services, Olalere insists that prices remain competitive.

“We’re not driving customers away with our prices. Our services are worth every penny, and we ensure great value compared to others,” he said.

“We want everyone to experience the luxury and comfort of Stone Cafe without breaking the bank.”

“We invite everyone to come and see the new Stone Cafe. It’s better than ever, and we can’t wait to share it with our community,” Olalere concluded.
