Some party faithfuls across the local government have commended the unrelented efforts of the Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare Akorede for his sterling leadership qualities that is based on giving back to the people of the local government.
The party faithfuls faulted the uncultured and babaric attitude of the local government party’s secretary, Mr. Monsuru Tajani for his attempt to paint and mislead the good people of Ibarapa North Local Government against the council chairman, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare Akorede by painting a falsehood information about his person and character.
They stated these in a statement signed by Chief Oladiran Ganiyu on their behalf, a copy of which was made available to newsmen, on Monday.
They said that “the chairman of the Local government neither spent nor tempared with party’s resources rather he has been using his personal resources for the growth and development of the part for victorious 2023 Elections.”
The statement read in part: “We the party’s faithfuls disassociated ourselves from the unlawful act of Mr. Tijani Monsuru (the LG party’s Secretary)
“It is a colossal damage and a total breakdown of law and order by raising his hand against the number one citizen of the Local government, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare Akorede in his office.
“We the party’s faithfuls therefore, applogiesd to the Executive chairman Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lawal Lateef Adebare to continue his good work for the good people of the Local government because his leadership has brought alot of positivity and inclusive growth to the Local Government in all ramifications and the local government has grew in leaps and bound .
“Finally, this is to inform the general public to shun any falsehood statements or fallacious publications from the embattled Party’s Secretary and further punishment will sanctioned against him for his gross misconduct, defermation of character, asult and battery against the consistuted Authority of the local government.”
