As Muslim faithful across the world celebrate Sallah, the Chairman of the Oyo State Pensions Board, Hon Rafiu Adekunle, has felicitated with them on the occasion of this year’s celebration.
In a Sallah message on behalf of the board, Honorable Adekunle also urged workers to consider a sustainable wage for the government to move forward.

Honorable Adekunle urged Muslim faithful to imbibe the spirit of Sallah, adding that the lessons from the festival must resonate with them.
The former Minority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly also felicitated with traditional rulers in Oke Ogun and the state in general.
While calling on everyone to support the Oyo State government led by Governor Seyi Makinde with prayers, he advised the newly elected local government chairmen to think outside the box for initiatives that can enhance more revenue internally. Also, in order to boost economic and social developments, consideration must be given to economic value and connectivity in choice of 30 kilometers township inner road approved by the governor.
Adekunle, who is the Proprietor and Founder of Primrose Model Schools and College, Saki, also used the opportunity to greet parents and staff of the schools on the occasion of Sallah.
The message read in part: “As we celebrate Sallah, let us remember the importance of sustainable wage for the government to move forward. The lessons from Sallah must resonate with us, and guide us in our daily lives.
“I urge everyone to support the Oyo State government led by Governor Seyi Makinde with prayers, as we work towards a better future for all. Let us use this occasion to reflect on the importance of unity, peace, and prosperity in our state and nation.”
