The Chairman of Saki West local government, Engr Sarafadeen Omirinde has sworn-in newly appointed secretaries, supervisory councillors and special assistants to join the executive arm of the council and help in piloting the affairs of the local government as the law stipulated.
The ceremony was held at the council’s chamber of the local government on Thursday in Saki town.
The appointees are: Alh Mudasir Busari Eruobodo – Secretary, Oladokun John Olayemi – Ass. Secretary, Adebiyi Oladepo – Ass. Secretary, Adebayo Waliu Adekunle – Supervisor Councilor, Mrs Adebiyi Omobolanle – Supervisor Councilor, Olowokere Tawakalituh – Supervisor Councilor, Azeez Ibrahim – Supervisor Councilor, Adetola Hazzan Olowu – Supervisor Councilor.
Also, Kazeem Sulaiman Adetunji – Supervisor Councilor, Ayoade Adufe – Supervisor Councilor, Shuarau Abdul Hakeem – Supervisor Councilor, Alhaja Oyesiji Sofia – Supervisor Councilor, Okerinola Isiah O – Supervisor Councilor, Sikiru Nafiu Olaide – Supervisor Councilor and Salami Waheed – Supervisor Councilor.
Others are Nafiu Alaje – Special Assistant, Kehinde Adeola – Special Assistant, Tijani Idris Alaran – Special Assistant, Raufu Balogun – Special Assistant, Lasisi Ganiyu – Special Assistant, Afeez Adewoyin – Special Assistant, Olabode Adeniyi Alabi – Special Assistant, Ogungbenro Emmanuel – Special Assistant, Alhaja Damilola Kosenat – Special Assistant, Kasali Monsurat – Special Assistant and Salaudeen Aliu – Special Assistant.
Omirinde while speaking congratulated the new secretaries, supervisory councilors, SAs on their appointments and urged them to reciprocate the trust bestowed on them by giving their best to the administration and support the vision of Engr. Seyi Makinde.
He added that their appointments followed wider consultations and thorough scrutiny on their commitment and dedication towards the mission of the current administration and the party in particular where they were found worthy of the appointments.
Omirinde while presenting letters of appointment to Mr Busari Mudasir Eruobodo tasked him to be the “Political Head/Administrator” of Asabari Local Council Development Area.
The chairman told the appointees that their performances would be reviewed quarterly, adding that there is need for them to give in their best.
The swearing in ceremony exercise had in attendance the members Saki West PDP Elders Forum, Chairman Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission, Rt Hon Musa Abdulwasi Ph.D, Special Assistant to Governor of Oyo State for Ifedapo Federal Constituency, Dr Lukman Adisa Abdulsalam Adamawa, Former Minority Leader of Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon Rafiu Adekunle, Members of Legislative Arm, PDP Stakeholders, and other well-wishers.
