A Digital Learning Center has been successfully established at Ansar-Deen High School, Saki, in Oyo State, Nigeria.
The center was facilitated by lawmaker representing ATISBO, Saki East, Saki West Federal Constituency, Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun, in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
The center is equipped with modern computers, internet access, and e-learning resources, providing a conducive environment for students to acquire digital skills and knowledge
In a statement signed by Sheu Shittu Megida, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Hon. Abisodun, on Thursday, the Lawmaker said the initiative represents critical step towards equipping students skills they need.
His words: “This initiative represents a critical step toward equipping our students with the tools, knowledge, and digital skills they need to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.
“True progress begins with empowered minds. This project is a testament to what we can achieve when we prioritize the future of our children and invest in their potential.”
He further added that the initiative aims to bridge the digital divide in the community and empower the next generation with the tools they need to succeed.
He expressed gratitude to NITDA for their partnership and support, as well as the leadership, staff, and students of Ansar-Deen High School for their enthusiasm and warm reception.
The launch of the Digital Learning Center is expected to have a positive impact on the students and the community, enhancing their access to quality education and digital opportunities.
