As a way of reconciling aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, who chairs party\’s post National Convention Reconciliation Committee yesterday visited former Governor Rashidi Ladoja in Ibadan.
Describing Ladoja as one of the political fathers of PDP in South West and indeed in Nigeria, Dickson noted that the party is a family and ’we are in Ibadan to discuss family issue and how the party will move forward.
He assured that the newly elected national working committee would work with everyone and nobody would feel marginalised in the party.
In his response, Ladoja said he is ready to work with the newly elected national working committee of the party, adding that ‘it is not all about my ambition but to give power back to the people come 2019.’
Those who accompanied Dickson included Senator Abdul Ningi, Former Minister for Environment, Mr John Ogar Odey, Former Minister of FCT, Akinjide Jumoke and three newly elected national working commitee members namely: Elder Yemi Akinwonmi, National Deputy Chairman, Hon. Aribisala Adewale, National Treasurer, Kola Ologbodiyan, National Publicity Secretary and Hon. Diran Odeyemi,Deputy National Publicity Secretary.
On ground to receive the PDP reconciliation committee were Senator Olufumi Akinola Lanlehin, Barr. Sarafadeen Abiodun, who is a former secretary to Oyo State Government and other PDP Leaders.
