The Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has approved the appointment of Mrs. Amidat Ololade Agboola as the new Head of Service (HoS) of the state Civil Service effective Friday May 24, 2019.
The new HOS, who hails from Ibadan, is the wife of a former Senate Deputy Chief Whip, Hosea Agboola, popularly known as ‘Halleluyah.’
Here is a brief profile of Mrs. Ololade Agboola
Ololade Agboola attended Queens School, Ibadan (1975 – 1981) for her secondary school.
She holds Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History at the now Obafemi Awolowo University Ilé Ifè in 1985.
In 2008, she went back to OAU where she bagged Masters in Public administration.
Mrs. Agboola joined the public service of Oyo State as administrative officer in 1988 and held various positions of responsibility across the service.
She was appointed as Permanent Secretary in March 2015, in the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Her appointment as Head of Service came as Mrs Ogunesan resigned her appointment less than 5 months into the office.
