A Presidential aspirant and publisher of the famous online news platform, Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore yesterday 23rd of May, 2018 took his movement and ambition to the ancient Oyo town to sensitise the populace on the need to take Nigeria back from those in power.
Insideoyo.com also gathered that Sowore also visited the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi shortly after addressing Oyo commutants at the Atiba Town Hall, Oja Akesan. He was warmly received by the King with royal blessing on his movement and aspiration.
Recall that the former Students’ Union President of University of Lagos beginned his bid to take Nigeria back few months Ago. Recognising the role of traditional rulers in the country, he had visited the Emir of Kano earlier before visiting the Alaafin of Oyo yesterday.
