The Honourable representing Afijio/Oyo East/Oyo West/ Atiba Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi popularly known as Skimeh has declared his intention to contest for second term.
The son of the Alaafin of Oyo made the declaration on Wednesday in Oyo town at the final of the football completion he organized.
He wants to contest under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress
A post on his Facebook account reads: “I am happy. I am humbled. I feel honoured. Your support is my tonic. Your love is my stimulant. Great people of Oyo Federal Constituency, thank you. I am so proud of you.
“Yesterday, at the declaration of my intention to contest for a second term in office as a member of the Federal House of Representatives, neither gold, silver, money nor food could buy the quality of support you showed for my aspiration.
“Come February 2019, with your unflinching support, we can do it again”
